VE and WM-Series II is the latest version of Australia's most popular sedans, wagons, utilities, luxury cars and a long wheelbase. New range has seen the refinement to the formula that made Holden Commodore of the best-selling car for 14 years, directly importing intelligent multimedia technologies, fuel economy, and the ability to use eco-friendly bioethanol.

Presentation of increased music features plug-and-play and the ability to encode and store up to 15 CDs in an internal flash drive, the system also provides advanced satellite navigation on some models, there including the state of alert live traffic to help drivers avoid congestion delays.
Smart technology Commodore Series II extends powertrain line-up also provides a fuel savings on all models.
Holden thrifty 3.0-liter V6 now Sidi realize a savings of 9.1 liters of fuel per 100 km in the official test ADR81/02. The improvement of two percent adds up to 13 percent fuel economy in September last year, when the technology Direct Injection SI Engine was introduced in the region Commodore.
The 3.6-liter V6 Sidi used to provide models Commodore, average fuel economy gains of more than three percent of all models, while luxury and performance powered by Holden V8 Gen IV improvements averaging more than six percent.
In a major step towards creating a cleaner fuel Australian landscape, customers in the series II could also drive their cars on bio-ethanol which are known in many markets such as E85, a blend containing up to 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline.
Bio-ethanol is a renewable fuel that can be made from a variety of waste products from the production of wheat and sugar and even households. In Australia today the use of fuel reduces emissions of lifecycle CO2 by almost 40 percent compared to gasoline.
A first for an Australian car manufacturing, models of the Series II V6-powered 3.0-liter and 6.0 liter V8 Sidi flex-fuel capability, so they can run on bioethanol E10, without lead, Premium, or a combination of both.

2011 Holden Volt Review
GM Holden has released the first images of Holden's much anticipated Volt extended electric vehicles, as it will appear on the roads of Australia. The images, which show a version of right-hand drive Holden Volt Sport badges on the front and rear aerodynamics, were released as part of the presentation of Holden International Motor Show Melbourne. This is a place to take the vehicle that was acclaimed for his ability to travel 64 km before electricity with gasoline or producing tailpipe.
GM Holden chairman and managing director Mark Reuss said the company had been overwhelmed by a public interest in Volt Holden since announcing the launch in Australia in 2012. "We believe that V has the potential to change the game in the Australian car," said Reuss. "Since we announced our intention to introduce Holden Volt to Australia, which were overwhelmed by the public interest in the car and the technology that makes it work. There is no doubt that advanced propulsion systems volts are some of the most interesting developments alternative fuel vehicles. believe in Holden Volt will have a major role in our efforts to make the car more environmentally friendly. "
GM estimates that compared to firms gasoline vehicles will save motorists up to 1892 Volts liters of fuel per year. This is based on research from the United States that identifies 75 per cent of commuters travel an average daily distance of less than 40 miles (64 kilometers). When the battery power the Volt is exhausted, a small gasoline engine generates enough electricity to power the vehicle for hundreds of extra kilometres.GM also calculates that charging the vehicle at night using an electrical outlet Standard consume less electricity annually than the average household refrigerator.
Chevrolet Volt is intended for the production of GM's Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly and is scheduled for launch in the U.S. in late 2010. The correct version of the album will be released later.
V - How the technology works
Volt is an extended-range electric vehicle (E-REV). In a significant advance from conventional hybrids, it uses electricity to its wheels at all times and speeds. For trips up to 64 km, Volt is powered only by electricity stored in its battery without using petrol or producing exhaust pipe. When the battery is discharged, a small gasoline engine generates electricity for the vehicle to travel hundreds of miles away. The advanced technology of the vehicle's battery to be paid in less than three hours on a standard 240 V outlet. The charging time is reduced if the battery is completely dead. GM estimates that compared to gasoline vehicles to average 7.8 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers, V will save drivers up to 1,892 liters of fuel per year.
Volt - Details
The design of the Volt production car has evolved from an original concept that was unveiled at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. General Motors has created a design for energy-efficient production vehicles, resulting in one of the most aerodynamic cars in the history of the company. Many design elements of the concept car was brought into the production Volt, including the closed front grille, athletic and graphic design background. Inside, the Volt offers space, comfort, convenience and security that customers expect in a sedan with four passengers.
Volt - Battery Information
GM plans to build the first lithium-ion battery production facility to handle a large model car in the United States to produce V battery system. It consists of a lithium-ion cells, which are grouped into modules, along with other key elements of the battery. The plant is located in Michigan, the subject of negotiations with state and local government authorities. Ment will start in early 2009, and production tools were installed in the mid-year and production will begin in 2010.
GM Holden chairman and managing director Mark Reuss said the company had been overwhelmed by a public interest in Volt Holden since announcing the launch in Australia in 2012.
